A Fantastic Week At Ballindenisk
Following a perfect week at Blenheim, team McEwen headed to Cork, and it couldn't have gone better. Speaking about the event Tom wrote:
"It's been lovely to be back after 15 years. The new surfaces are fantastic and the ground has been perfect all week.
I'm delighted for my long-standing owner, Penny Barker. Maestro and Class Romance were both fantastic all week, winning the CCI3*S and CCI4*L.
And GHS Diamanta, who always gets pushed to the back of the pack because he's mine, was a star. To win the CCI2*L with so few wins under his belt was awesome!
Massive thanks to my team as always and the team at Ballindenisk for a great event! Next stop Boekelo

A Historic Double at Blenheim Palace
Wow! This weekend could not have gone any better for Tom at the prestigious Blenheim palace!
He made history by placing 1st and 2nd in the CCI4*-L on The Fieldmaster and Brookfield Quality, scoring an overall 34.4 and 34.5 respectively. A well deserved 3rd place went to Sam Ecroyd and Jackpot who scored a respective 38.
However, it the CCI4*-L wasn't the only class to bring success, Tom also managed to secure the win in the CCI4*-S on Brookfield Danny De Muze.
It's fantastic to see all the work pay off! Well done team Mcewen!

Team Gold in Aachen!
Team GB well and truly dominated the podium at the Aachen 2026 World Eventing Championships. Tom and JL Dublin secured the top dressage score in the first phase, sitting top of the podium on an impressive 26.6 at the end of day one.
Following this impressive start, the duo jumped two super rounds with just two time penalties XC and a great showjumping performance.
This consistent edge was matched by the rest of the team, with Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo finishing in 2nd and Laura Collett and London 52 securing 3rd place. This impressive performance lead team GB to finish the competition top of the podium with a final score of 84.0. Team silver went to Germany with 95.6, with bronze awarded to team USA on 113.5.
The superb score of 84.0 is the best team finishing score on record across across all previous Olympics and world championships, the previous record being 86.3 at Tokyo in 2021. Go team GB!
